We first started coming to The Learning Place when my daughter was a junior and preparing for the SAT. She had tried an intensive Princeton Review course, but still fell short of her desired scores. Working with Glenn and his staff at The Learning Place provided not only expert advice about how to prepare, but the regular practice, encouragement and one-on-one attention my daughter needed to reach her goal. A year later, when my son was a freshman and struggling to keep up in an Honors English course, his teacher recommended that he seek extra help. We contacted Glenn, and what started as a desire to improve an English grade turned into a relationship that my son and I will never forget. Glenn became not just my son's tutor but his mentor, guiding him through coursework, the SAT, the ups and downs of high school, and the college admission process. My son went on to graduate in the top 20% of his class, and is now a sophomore at Brandeis University. And my daughter just graduated from the University of Rochester, and is starting her first job doing research in environmental science.
